What if Jesus wants more than attending an event?
What if he wants your whole life? The good news of Jesus is not only that he saves all of us who repent and believe, it’s that he transforms us by his Spirit more and more into new life and empowers us for his mission.
Who are we?
We are a group of people who have been rescued by Jesus and have found true life, joy, and peace in him. We follow him in all of life. We are devoted to his word. We are committed to his ways. We want to share the good news and help more people follow Jesus.
And we do this together as his church family.
What do we want to see?
The gospel of Jesus transform lives, households, cities, countries, and the world. We want to see the glory of God cover the earth like the water covers the sea. We want to see every knee bowed before the King of kings and every heart worshipping his name.
Where? Roseville Area
We gather on Sundays in a home located in Roseville, MN. And we strive to equip every household to be a hub for mission and community. Although we are a house church, we strongly believe in being connected and supported by other churches and organizations. We are in strong partnership with our sending church (All People’s Church), the SEND Network, and like-minded churches in the area (Cities Church, Bethlehem Baptist Church, etc.)
Our Approach
-

Healthy Hearts
We need to walk by repentance and faith and habitually commune with the Father in word and prayer.
A Healthy Heart is like a tree planted by a river. God’s word is the river and our hearts thrive when we are near him and nourished by him. (Psalm 1, Jn. 15) -

Healthy Households
Individualism is against God’s design. We are created for families and community. We need each other.
Healthy Households are led by godly men, helped by godly women, and blessed by many children. The household is not exclusive to family but meant to be an outpost of light for all peoples. (Gen. 1-3, Eph. 5)
-

Healthy Church
We encourage each other towards Christ. We gather often to pray, feast, worship, and grow in God’s word. We share the gospel and strive to make disciples.
A Healthy Church needs godly pastors equipping members for ministry. As every member uses their spiritual gifts, the body will grow and Christ will be glorified. (Eph. 4, 1 Cor 12-14)

Daniel Simmons
Daniel grew up in the great city of Cincinnati, Ohio. His parents were faithful ministers and modeled the faith, helping lead him to Christ at a young age. As a teenager, his passion for God and love for music eventually gave birth to a music career with the band All the Day Holiday. At the age of 21, after a dark season of sin, God broke in and brought a new level of surrender, joy, and zeal for Jesus that began a new journey toward global missions and pastoral ministry.
Daniel served as an associate pastor in Cincinnati for several years before moving to Minneapolis to pursue further biblical education at Bethlehem College and Seminary (B.A. Biblical Studies and Cross-Cultural Ministry). While studying, he ministered to High School students, International Students, and spent several months in South Asia.
At that time, he also met his wife, Kate. She faithfully serves alongside him and raises their children, Day and Phineas (Irish twins), Glory, Shepherd, and Marigold. Daniel and his wife are certified Biblical Counselors through Christian Counseling Education Foundation (CCEF). Daniel served as a full-time staff pastor of All People’s Church before launching Light House in 2025.
They enjoy hosting in their Roseville home, exploring and eating good food, playing board games, making music and anything that involves outdoors or dancing with their kids.

Dale Gruber
Dale was blessed with wonderful Christian parents. He was homeschooled as the youngest of five in Stillwater, MN. But at the age of 16 years old, his eyes were fully open to Jesus as he was radically discipled by his youth pastor. He was a sinner and yet eternally loved by God in Christ. He was moved to tears with a joy greater than anything he had ever known. Immediately, Dale felt a burning desire to help people know Jesus.
He served in the youth group and worship at that church. After graduating, he studied the Bible at Bethlehem College & Seminary. In 2011, a freshman in college, he married his junior-high sweetheart, Hannah Gruber. He’s crazy about her! In college, they joined a church plant with a big vision for all-of-life discipleship and Jesus. Dale eventually became a lay elder. After that church dissolved, they joined All People’s Church, and Dale eventually joined as a lay pastor. They served in that church until launching Light House in 2025.
Their family has grown since 2018. Despite losing two children to miscarriage, they are richly blessed with their daughters Hayden, Aurelia, and Juniper and their son James. Hannah is a rockstar wife, mother, and homemaker! Dale owns a manufacturing business with his brother in Lake Elmo, MN. They enjoy hosting in their St. Paul home, cooking, music, sports, reading and all the beautiful plants Hannah nurtures.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
— Jesus
(Matthew 28:18-20)
